My wife and I are near to selling our home in the Lakes and are seriously looking at buying in East Lothian, semi-rural, maybe Ormiston, Pencaitland, Elphinston or similar. What is your opinion of these areas? Looking for quiet-ish area and have approx. £380000 max tops.
Dunbar is too far from Edinburgh. Can you suggest any other areas.
