“On your marks MOV8, get set, BAKE!”
Another fun fundraiser was held on Friday, 27 April 2018 in MOV8’s offices and a fantastic £116.50 was raised through contributions by those sampling their colleagues’ creations. MOV8 matched these contributions, meaning that a total of £233 was donated to MOV8’s chosen charity, the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity (ECHC) https://echcharity.org/.
ECHC supports and complements the work of Edinburgh’s Royal Hospital for Sick Children (The Sick Kids) as well as other children’s healthcare settings across Scotland, believing that nothing should get in the way of being a child. Their mission is to transform the experiences of children and young people in hospital so they can be a child first and a patient second.
Congratulations to all the star bakers who took part. It was a brilliant effort all round and a good variety of scrumptious culinary delights, from bread rolls to Oreo cheesecake and treacle tart, were enjoyed by everyone!
